With the ending of season two of Dungeons and Drag Queens, we finally got a sneak peak at Dimension 20’s new campaign. Coming out April 2nd, we will be receiving… TITAN TAKEDOWN.
New players, new storyline, and more TTRPG. What more can you ask for? Those of you reading might be WWE fans, and if that is up your ally, then you are going to thoroughly enjoy this new season.
Titan Takedown Storyline
Little is know about the overall storyline a the current moment. It is possible we will hear slightly more news but Dropout is great at not spoiling their shows. Especially when it comes to trailers, below is what we were able to pull together.
Taking place in ancient Athens, we find our four new players on their way to a secret meeting. We find the comedy in this group within the first 30 seconds of the trailer, with them referencing the pussycat dolls as their sneak technique.
These righteous wrestlers will be taking part of a battle that comes once every millennia. The name Titan Takedown quickly becomes apparent with these four wrestlers having to face off against titans of old… in the ring.
The ruler of the heavens, Zeus (Big Z) seems to be one of their opponents (or at least possibly an announcer?) for the season. Who else was also announced for the arena? The strongest man, Hercules himself.
WWE Pipeline For D&D
Entertainers always make TTRPG’s much more exciting, and well of course, entertaining. That is why commonly you will find comedians and those who do improv so often on these programs.
Recently they have gone from Dropout’s improv team to drag queens, and now into the realm of WWE. This time we will have four new players, all professional wrestlers for the WWE franchise. Introduced in order of appearance –

Character design seems exciting as well, while no healer can be found their classes reflect what we would use for a wrestling theme game. Monk with their fist, barbarian with their brute strength, and rogue for slick maneuvering.
Something of interest, every other person introduced their name and class. As noted in the name above, Kofi Kingston has not revealed what their class is at the time of writing this article. Only referring to himself as “The King”.
Of course we can not forget out favorite Dungeon Master, Brennen Lee Mulligan. He will be, once again, return as a DM for this campaign. From what we have seen so far, the models and diorama have continued to improve with the increased popularity of Dungeons & Dragons.
This is not even in regards to their main cast campaigns, it has really become a show that can indulge every aspect of gameplay. Even if it’s special campaigns like Titan Takedown or more recently Never Stop Blowing Up. If you have not checked out the latter, we have you covered with a rundown here – VHS is Back! Never Stop Blowing Up is Dimension 20’s Explosive New Campaign.

Conclusion
Overall we are exceptionally excited for this new season of Dimension 20, having a battle/wrestling themed game with actual pros from the ring. Being able to bring that real life experience to the game should be very exciting, and we can not wait to see a brawl break out.
